Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  1. Maintain and update accurate financial records for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  2. Process and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
  3. Assist in bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
  4. Prepare journal entries, account adjustments, and supporting documentation.
  5. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  6. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments.
  7. Support payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
  8. Track accounts, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments.
  9. Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
  10. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and internal control procedures.
  12. Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding accounts.
  13. Maintain organized and secure financial filing systems.
  14. Assist in audit preparation by gathering supporting documentation and schedules.
  15. Support implementation and maintenance of accounting software and tools.
  16. Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and allocations.
  17. Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
  18. Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.
