Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time.
  3. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations.
  4. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  5. Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal financial policies.
  6. Assist in the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries.
  7. Monitor cash flow, track expenditures, and manage bank transactions.
  8. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
  9. Reconcile intercompany accounts, fixed assets, and general ledger balances.
  10. Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and reporting integrity.
  12. Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for discrepancies.
  13. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
  14. Review and verify transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  15. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows.
  16. Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement procedures.
