Primary Functions

Assist with induction of regional anesthesia by preparing nerve block trays, sterile drapes and ultrasound probe covers, ensuring ultrasound machines and nerve stimulation equipment are ready and functioning.
Perform patient safety checks related to anesthesia equipment and gas delivery, including leak tests, scavenging system verification, oxygen supply checks and appropriate scavenging connections to reduce exposure and risk.
