Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead client onboarding and account opening activities: collect KYC documentation, verify client identity, complete suitability assessments, and prepare account paperwork in accordance with firm and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and delivery of customized financial plans by gathering client data, running cash flow and scenario analyses, building retirement income models, and drafting plan narratives for review by senior advisors.
- Prepare detailed investment proposals and model portfolio recommendations, including asset allocation, risk profiling, fee analysis, and tax-efficient positioning for client review.
- Execute discrete trading and rebalancing instructions under supervision: process trades, monitor settlement, document trade rationale, and reconcile activity with custodians.
- Maintain accurate and current client records in CRM and planning systems (e.g., Salesforce, Redtail, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro), logging all client interactions and next steps to ensure seamless service and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular client reviews and performance reporting: analyze portfolio returns, benchmark comparisons, performance attribution, and prepare clear summary presentations for review meetings.
- Perform ongoing client communication and service: respond to requests, address account inquiries, facilitate distributions and contributions, and coordinate changes to beneficiary or account designations.
- Assist senior advisors in prospecting and business development activities: prepare prospecting materials, support outreach campaigns, schedule introductory meetings, and follow up with leads.
- Complete suitability and risk tolerance interviews and document findings; escalate complex or out-of-policy requests to senior advisors or compliance as needed.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary advice delivery by liaising with CPAs, estate attorneys, insurance specialists, and third-party product providers to ensure integrated implementation of client strategies.
- Monitor client accounts for life-event triggers (retirement, inheritance, business sale) and proactively flag opportunities for financial planning updates or new advice.
- Prepare and deliver client-ready meeting materials, financial plan updates, and investment policy statements with professional formatting and narrative context.
- Conduct product and market research: summarize fund/ETF characteristics, manager selection rationale, fee comparatives, and relevant market commentary for advisor consumption.
- Support compliance and audit activities by preparing documentation packets, transaction logs, and client consent records for internal and external reviews.
- Implement practice management tasks such as billing and fee reconciliation, contract tracking, and onboarding checklists to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements (FINRA, SEC, fiduciary standards) and internal policy; complete continuing education and licensing requirements as assigned.
- Identify and follow up on service and cross-sell opportunities (insurance, lending, trust services, employer-sponsored benefits) consistent with client needs and suitability.
- Facilitate account transfers, beneficiary changes, and custodial upgrades, coordinating paperwork, and expediting resolution of transfer issues with custodians.
- Prepare draft statements, letters, and client communications on market events or firm updates, ensuring accuracy, tone, and compliance review when required.
- Assist with fee proposals, billing setup, and fee disclosures; manage fee schedules and ensure client consent is documented.
- Support onboarding technology adoption for clients (client portals, electronic signatures, secure document exchange) and troubleshoot common access problems.
Secondary Functions
- Participate in client events, seminars, webinars, and community networking to support brand visibility and lead generation.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing content and educational materials aimed at client segments (retirees, executives, business owners).
- Help maintain internal knowledge bases: update playbooks, process guides, and FAQ documents used by the advisory team.
- Support ad-hoc analytics requests such as client segmentation, retention metrics, and pipeline reporting to help advisors prioritize outreach.

Educational Background
Minimum Education:
