Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead daily salon/store operations to meet and exceed monthly sales, conversion, and average transaction value targets by coaching the team on consultative selling, add-ons, and service up-sells that align with company KPIs.
  • Develop, mentor, and evaluate beauty consultants, stylists, and estheticians through formal training plans, one-on-one coaching, performance reviews, and individual development goals to build a high-performing, customer-focused team.
  • Create and implement targeted merchandising plans and product placement strategies—both static and promotional—to optimize floor space, increase product visibility, and improve category performance across skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances.
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility at the store/salon level by managing labor, expenses, markdowns, and shrinkage while driving top-line revenue through events, appointments, and retail sales initiatives.
  • Plan and execute beauty events, launch parties, masterclasses, and client appreciation evenings that strengthen community relationships, generate trial, and convert new customers into loyal clients.
  • Oversee inventory management practices including ordering, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and returns to minimize stockouts and overstock while ensuring the right mix of product across best-sellers and new launches.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by implementing consistent follow-up processes, retention strategies, appointment rebooking, and personalized treatment plans that increase lifetime value.
  • Use sales analytics and customer insights to forecast demand, set product and service targets, and recommend assortment changes that align with seasonal trends and consumer behavior.
  • Ensure best-in-class customer experience by monitoring service quality, client consultations, treatment consistency, and complaint resolution processes; escalate complex issues and implement corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams to align in-store promotions with digital campaigns, loyalty programs, and omnichannel fulfillment to maximize reach and conversion.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, sanitation, and licensing standards for all beauty services, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations and maintaining an inspection-ready environment.
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new hires with a focus on cultural fit, product knowledge, technical skill, and sales aptitude; design orientation programs that accelerate productivity and retention.
  • Maintain appointment systems and scheduling tools to optimize capacity utilization, minimize wait times, and match client needs with staff expertise, including managing cancellations and no-shows efficiently.

  • Drive loyalty program enrollment and utilization by training staff on program benefits, incentives, and redemption rules; analyze loyalty metrics to identify opportunities for targeted outreach and retention.
  • Create and maintain accurate retail reports, daily sales summaries, and workforce scheduling data to inform leadership and support business reviews and planning cycles.
  • Champion product education and technical certification for staff—running in-house training sessions and coordinating with brand educators—to improve consultation quality and product recommendations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, coordinate in-store brand activations, and ensure merchandising kits and training resources are executed to brand standards.
  • Administer loss prevention and cash-handling procedures, conduct regular audits, and implement controls to reduce shrink and financial discrepancies.
  • Establish and enforce visual merchandising standards, ensuring fixture cleanliness, signage accuracy, tester availability, and seasonal displays reflect brand guidelines and enhance the shopping experience.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
