Primary Functions

  • Monitor guest beverage consumption, recognize signs of intoxication, intervene appropriately, and involve management or security when safety or policy issues arise to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Open, rotate, and restock beverage service stations and service bars daily, perform inventory counts for scheduled shifts, and report low-stock items to bar management to prevent service disruption.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to enter orders, process payments, split checks, redeem promotions, and reconcile sales at the end of the shift while following cash handling and credit card procedures.

  • Assist in stock deliveries and vendor receipts for beverages, verify incoming orders against invoices, and store product in designated areas to uphold loss-prevention and accuracy.
  • Document and report any health and safety hazards, accident reports, or customer incidents to supervisors, including lost-and-found items, spills, or potential litigation concerns, ensuring thorough logging and follow-up.

Educational Background
