  • Operate as an armed or unarmed protective agent (per jurisdiction and client requirements), maintaining certified proficiency and lawful handling of weapons, ensuring all firearms and use-of-force actions comply with applicable laws, agency policies and documented rules of engagement.
  • Execute defensive driving and vehicle security protocols when serving as driver/protection driver: route selection, evasive maneuvers under approved training, vehicle hardening checks, convoy formation, and coordination with local escorts to minimize exposure and reaction time in emergency scenarios.
  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care at the point of injury, including advanced first aid, CPR, control of hemorrhage, and basic trauma stabilization until professional EMS arrives; maintain current medical certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Tactical Combat Casualty Care where applicable).
  • Maintain continuous protective sweeps and counter-surveillance measures during client presence at homes, hotels, offices and public venues; identify suspicious behavior, mitigate stalking or reconnaissance activity, and coordinate with local law enforcement when required.
  • Coordinate communication and operational plans with client staff, household personnel, venue security and third-party vendors to ensure integrated protective layering, streamlined access control and clear escalation paths for incidents.
  • Prepare and maintain precise, timely incident reports, after-action reviews, intelligence logs and operational checklists; document suspicious activity, security breaches, medical incidents, and lessons learned to inform future protective strategies.
  • Manage access control, guest screening and credential verification at client-controlled events or private functions; deconflict attendees, manage VIP entry points and ensure secure buffer zones around clients during interactions with the public and media.
  • Deliver privacy protection services, including safeguarding personal information, social media monitoring for threats, and advising on operational security (OPSEC) measures to limit client exposure and reputational risk.
  • Supervise, mentor and lead multi-agent protection details when assigned as team leader: assign roles and positions, conduct pre-event briefings and rehearsals, debrief post-mission and maintain team discipline and standards.

  • Manage logistics for domestic and international travel: passport, visa and customs coordination, safe lodging selection, local medical and security resource identification, and contingency planning for travel delays or escalations.
  • Support protective intelligence efforts by synthesizing open-source research, social media monitoring, and briefings from private intelligence providers to identify emerging threats or risk indicators relevant to client safety.
  • Ensure operational readiness of all issued equipment, vehicles and communication devices through routine checks, maintenance logs and inventory management; coordinate repairs and replacements in a timely manner to avoid capability gaps.
