Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead end-to-end strategic initiatives: develop the project charter, align stakeholders, define scope, create a phased roadmap, and own delivery of outcomes against agreed KPIs and milestones.
  • Build clear, data-driven business cases that quantify ROI, cost-benefit analysis, sensitivity scenarios, and payback timelines to secure funding and executive sponsorship.
  • Design and execute cross-functional program plans that integrate stakeholders from product, marketing, finance, operations, legal and technology to ensure on-time and on-budget implementation.
  • Conduct detailed process mapping, value-stream analyses, and root-cause diagnostics to identify waste, handoffs, and automation opportunities that materially reduce cycle time or cost.
  • Translate high-level strategy into prioritized workstreams, user stories or project plans and coordinate resource allocation and dependency management across distributed teams.
  • Create and maintain program dashboards and executive-ready reporting, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights to guide decision-making at leadership reviews.
  • Lead workshops and facilitated sessions (e.g., design thinking, working sessions, RACI alignment) to capture requirements, gain buy-in, and accelerate consensus across senior stakeholders.
  • Execute stakeholder management plans: map influence and interest, run regular steering committees, and proactively surface risks, mitigation strategies, and decision items.
  • Partner with analytics and data engineering teams to define measurement frameworks, develop meaningful KPIs, and implement tracking to monitor adoption and business impact.
  • Perform advanced financial and operational modeling (including unit economics, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis) to validate strategic options and prioritize investments.
  • Drive process redesign and standardization across business units, documenting new SOPs and handoffs to support scale and repeatability.
  • Act as product owner or partner to product managers when initiatives involve technology or product changes, ensuring requirements are prioritized and user acceptance criteria are met.
  • Coordinate pilot programs and phased rollouts, design test-and-learn experiments, and synthesize learnings to iterate solutions before full-scale deployment.
  • Manage change and adoption programs: stakeholder communications, training plans, adoption KPIs, and feedback loops to embed new processes or systems into business-as-usual.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks and issuesβ€”maintaining a risk register, escalating appropriately, and ensuring contingency plans are executable.
  • Negotiate vendor or partner agreements for outsourced capabilities and professional services, including scope, timelines, SLAs, and performance metrics.
  • Translate complex data and technical outputs into clear, persuasive presentations and recommendations for C-level and senior leadership audiences.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive moves, and best practices to infuse innovative approaches into program design and to identify new initiative opportunities.
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants and analysts, delegating work appropriately and developing their problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory constraints, and data governance requirements when designing and executing initiatives that touch customer or financial data.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and benefits realization exercises to confirm outcomes, capture lessons learned, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement governance frameworks (steering committees, decision rights, project lifecycles) to ensure transparency, accountability, and consistent delivery cadence across initiatives.
  • Engage with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to define go-to-market plans when initiatives impact external customers, including pricing, positioning, and enablement materials.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on operating model changes, organizational design recommendations, and role redefinitions required to sustain long-term improvements and scalability.
