Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead cross-functional discovery sessions with sales, product, finance, and customer success to translate business problems into clear, prioritized requirements, ensuring alignment to company objectives and measurable KPIs.
- Build comprehensive business cases and ROI analyses for new initiatives and product changes, including revenue forecasts, cost analysis, sensitivity scenarios, and a recommended implementation approach.
- Design, develop and maintain operational dashboards and executive reports (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) that track weekly/monthly KPIs, anomaly detection, and trend analysis to inform leadership decisions.
- Analyze CRM and sales pipeline data (Salesforce, HubSpot) to identify deal leakage, win/loss drivers, pricing opportunities, and territory performance; present prioritized recommendations to Sales Leadership.
- Create detailed process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows across marketing, sales and service functions, reducing cycle time and handoff friction.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to define data requirements, ensure data quality, specify event tracking, and validate analytical outputs for customer journeys and product usage.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery for commercial initiatives—define scope, create project plans, coordinate sprints, manage risks, and ensure milestones are delivered on time and on budget.
- Execute market and competitor research to surface trends, product gaps and new go-to-market opportunities; synthesize findings into concise, actionable strategic recommendations.
- Own pricing analysis and competitive benchmarking to support commercial proposals, discount guidelines, and margin optimization strategies.
- Conduct customer segmentation and cohort analyses to identify high-value segments, churn drivers and upsell/cross-sell opportunities; recommend targeted go-to-market tactics.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and governance reviews to secure decision approvals, align priorities, and set measurable success criteria for pilots and rollouts.
- Translate complex analytics into executive-ready presentations and one-pagers; tell a clear data-driven story that links insights to specific business actions.
- Design and administer A/B tests and experiments to validate hypotheses on product features, pricing, onboarding flows, and marketing messages; measure lift and recommend rollouts.
- Maintain and govern master data related to customers, products and pricing to ensure accurate reporting, billing and forecasting across systems (ERP/CRM).
- Support contract review and renewal analysis—assess terms, recommend negotiation levers, and create a renewal playbook to maximize retention and ARR.
- Coordinate go-to-market launches with product marketing, sales enablement and operations—create launch checklists, training materials, and success metrics to ensure smooth adoption.
- Implement process automation (Zapier, Workato, native platform automations) and workflow improvements to reduce manual work, minimize errors and accelerate time-to-value.
- Monitor operational metrics post-launch and own retrospective analyses that identify issues, quantify impact and propose corrective measures to stabilize outcomes.
- Drive change management and adoption programs including training sessions, job aids and internal communications to ensure sustained use of new tools or processes.
- Negotiate and manage select vendor relationships for analytics, CRM, or business process services; evaluate vendor performance against SLAs and contract terms.
- Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts in partnership with finance and commercial leads; reconcile forecast drivers and variance explanations to support planning cycles.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert to internal teams on business rules, commission structures, and reporting definitions to ensure consistent interpretation across the organization.

Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- Advanced Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas, Power Query and modeling for forecasting and scenario analysis.
- SQL: ability to query transactional databases for cohort analyses, funnel metrics and ad-hoc reporting.
- Data visualization: experience building dashboards and visual stories in Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
