  • Gather and synthesize complex functional and non-functional requirements from cross-functional stakeholders using interviews, workshops, process flows and use cases; translate them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Design scalable solution architectures and system configurations that align with enterprise standards and best practices, balancing out-of-the-box functionality with customizations to minimize technical debt and maximize upgradeability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive functional design documents, process maps (BPMN), configuration guides and solution blueprints that serve as the authoritative source during build, test and deployment phases.
  • Configure and customize enterprise systems (ERP modules, CRM objects/flows, security roles, workflows, reports) to meet business requirements while ensuring compliance with data governance, security and audit standards.
  • Manage integrations between enterprise systems and third-party platforms using APIs, middleware, ETL tools and message queuing; define data interfaces, transformation rules and reconciliation processes to maintain data integrity.
  • Create and execute detailed test plans including unit, integration, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT); coordinate defect triage, prioritize fixes with technical teams and validate remediation results.
  • Lead or support data migration activities: source data analysis, mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation and reconciliation across legacy and target systems to ensure high data quality at cutover.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business priorities into delivery roadmaps and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide end-user training and develop training materials, job aids, process documentation and e-learning content; conduct instructor-led training sessions and coaching to drive adoption and correct usage.
  • Drive change management efforts by assessing organizational impact, partnering with communications and HR teams to build adoption plans, and monitoring user adoption metrics to identify escalation points.
  • Perform system health reviews, configuration audits and optimization assessments to recommend performance improvements, cost-saving opportunities and platform rationalization strategies.
  • Maintain backlog prioritization, manage scope changes, and facilitate agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos) to ensure iterative delivery and stakeholder feedback loops.
  • Provide production support and incident management for enterprise systems, triaging user issues, coordinating root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Develop and deliver reporting and analytics solutions (Power BI, Tableau, native reports) to provide actionable insights for finance, sales, operations and executive stakeholders.
  • Support procurement, vendor selection and contract negotiations for application vendors, integration partners and managed service providers by developing requirement criteria, conducting RFP evaluations and providing functional assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial and security requirements during system configuration and data processing activities; contribute to audit readiness and controls documentation.
  • Mentor junior consultants and business analysts, review deliverables for quality, and foster knowledge transfer to build internal capabilities and accelerate future projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process automation opportunities, recommending best practices (Lean, Six Sigma), and guiding pilot programs for emerging technologies (RPA, AI-assisted workflows).
  • Monitor project KPIs and business outcomes post-implementation (process cycle time, transaction accuracy, user satisfaction) and recommend optimizations to realize targeted ROI.
  • Facilitate cross-functional governance forums—steering committees, change advisory boards, architecture reviews—to escalate decisions and ensure alignment on priorities and standards.
  • Create and maintain system roadmaps and release plans that align IT investments with business strategy and support long-term scalability and technical debt reduction.
  • Partner with security and infrastructure teams to plan system upgrades, patching, disaster recovery and performance tuning to maintain system availability and SLAs.
