Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions

- Create costume and prop variations, modular outfit systems, and accessory designs optimized for production reuse and customization systems (e.g., skins or wardrobe systems).
- Develop stylized and realistic characters that adhere to established project style guides and franchise IP while introducing fresh, marketable visual traits.
- Collaborate directly with character modelers and technical artists to validate topology, silhouette fidelity, blendshape needs, and animation-driven requirements.
- Provide concept art and annotated deliverables for character-related VFX, hairstyles, cloth simulation, and mechanical rigging hooks to ensure coherent implementation.

Secondary Functions
- Support concept-driven prototyping and pre-production tasks such as rapid blocking of characters in 3D or creating animated turnarounds for stakeholder review.
- Assist marketing and community teams with social assets, character showcases, and developer diary art to increase engagement and retention.
- Contribute to and help maintain the project-wide visual language, style guides, and best-practice documentation for character creation.
