Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develops and owns a multi-year innovation strategy and roadmap aligned to corporate objectives, creating measurable KPIs (revenue from new products, time-to-market, adoption rates, ROI) and a governance model to track progress across business units.
  • Leads the end-to-end ideation-to-scale process, overseeing discovery research, prototyping, pilot programs, go-to-market testing, and full-scale commercialization of new products, services, platforms, and business models.
  • Establishes and manages the innovation pipeline and portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic fit, market potential, technical feasibility, regulatory risk, and expected financial return; conducts portfolio reviews and reallocates resources for maximum impact.
  • Sponsors and scales corporate venture and incubation programs, including corporate venture capital investments, strategic partnerships, accelerators, and internal startup studios to capture disruptive innovation and external growth opportunities.
  • Directs cross-functional innovation squads (product, design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, finance, marketing) in an agile operating model to reduce cycle times and deliver MVPs and pilots rapidly.
