Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Architect and own the enterprise digital transformation strategy and multi-year roadmap that aligns with corporate strategy, including prioritized initiatives across customer experience, operations, data and analytics, automation, and cloud modernization.
- Lead end-to-end digital program and portfolio management: define business cases, prioritize investments, manage budgets and resource allocation, set milestones, and ensure delivery of agreed ROI and KPIs.
- Drive enterprise architecture and technology modernization, including legacy system rationalization, cloud migration strategy (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), microservices and API-first design to improve scalability, resilience, and time-to-market.
- Build and scale a data-driven organization by defining data strategy, governance, master data management, analytics roadmaps, and AI/ML integration to enable predictive insights and data-led decision making across the business.
- Sponsor and operationalize an Agile-at-scale transformation (SAFe, LeSS or similar), embedding cross-functional agile teams, product management discipline, and continuous delivery/DevOps practices.
- Lead customer experience transformation initiatives to deliver seamless omnichannel journeys, personalization, CRM integration, digital marketing automation, and measurable improvements in NPS, retention and revenue per customer.
- Establish strong digital governance, risk and compliance frameworks covering cybersecurity, data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), third-party risk, and regulatory requirements for digital products and platforms.
- Define and implement change management and adoption plans (communication, training, stakeholder engagement, measurement) to maximize employee and customer adoption of new digital capabilities.
- Oversee vendor strategy and strategic partnerships, negotiate commercial agreements, manage large SI and ISV relationships, and ensure third-party SLAs and delivery quality.
- Lead innovation and incubation efforts, including pilot programs, proof of concepts (PoCs), partnerships with startups, academic institutions, and R&D to accelerate new business models and revenue streams.
- Set, track and report transformation KPIs and dashboards to executive leadership and the Board, translating technical progress into business impact (revenue growth, cost reduction, time-to-market, operational efficiency).
- Drive automation at scale (RPA, intelligent automation, business process orchestration) to reduce cycle times, improve accuracy and lower operational costs in key business processes.
- Coach, recruit and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams (product managers, architects, engineers, data scientists, designers, change leads), establishing talent pipelines and succession planning.
- Lead cross-border and multi-site program delivery, ensuring culturally aware stakeholder engagement and alignment across global operating units.
- Integrate digital due diligence and integration playbooks into M&A activity, ensuring rapid realization of synergies through digital and data integration.
- Manage multi-million dollar transformation budgets and P&L accountability for digital investment portfolios and technology modernization programs.
- Drive enterprise-wide API strategy and platform initiatives to enable ecosystem growth, partner integrations, and new monetization models.
- Champion customer-centric product development, instituting product lifecycle governance, MVP approaches, and continuous user research to iterate on digital offerings.
- Ensure robust observability and performance engineering practices are in place for digital platforms—monitoring, incident management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and measurable learning: A/B testing, hypothesis-driven roadmaps, and rapid iteration to accelerate validated learning and reduce delivery risk.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance and information security to ensure data usage, AI governance and model risk frameworks are embedded in all data-driven initiatives.
- Act as the primary executive liaison to the Board and external investors for digital strategy, transformation progress, risk posture, and future investment needs.

Educational Background
