Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement plan, including outreach campaigns, public meetings, consultation sessions, and targeted communications designed to increase participation and strengthen community relationships.

  • Advocate for community needs within the organization by synthesizing local concerns into policy recommendations, project adjustments, or service design changes to improve responsiveness and equity.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations, service providers, schools, and civic groups to expand program reach, leverage resources, and coordinate referral pathways for community support services.
  • Manage intake and triage of community feedback, complaints, and service requests; ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies while escalating critical issues to senior staff.
  • Conduct needs assessments and community research, including surveys, interviews, and participatory mapping, to inform program priorities, grant proposals, and service delivery models.
  • Support grant-writing and funding applications by providing community context, stakeholder endorsements, letters of support, and data to demonstrate local need and partnership commitment.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
