Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for a variety of marketing channels including landing pages, website pages, email campaigns, social media posts, blog articles, paid search and display ads, product descriptions, and in-app messaging, ensuring a consistent brand voice and tone across all touchpoints.
  • Develop SEO-optimized web content by conducting keyword research, integrating on-page SEO best practices (title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2 usage), and collaborating with SEO specialists to improve organic search visibility and rankings.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to craft concise microcopy and user flows (buttons, error messages, onboarding content) that reduce friction and improve product usability and conversion rates.
  • Produce direct-response copy for email and paid channels using proven frameworks (AIDA, PAS, FAB) and A/B test subject lines, CTAs, and body copy to increase open, click-through, and conversion rates.
  • Create and maintain brand messaging frameworks, style guides, and voice/tone documentation to ensure scalable, on-brand copy across campaigns and teams.
  • Research audience segments, competitive positioning, and industry trends to create compelling storytelling and value propositions that resonate with target customers and drive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with designers and art directors to ensure copy and visual design work together to deliver cohesive user experiences and effective marketing creative.
  • Edit, proofread, and quality-check copy for accuracy, grammar, legal and regulatory compliance, and adherence to brand guidelines before publication or handoff.

  • Optimize existing content through content audits, headline and metadata improvements, content pruning, and internal linking strategies to boost organic traffic and engagement.
  • Partner with analytics teams to track content performance (traffic, engagement, conversions) and use data insights to iterate on messaging and content formats for continuous improvement.
  • Write persuasive long-form content (whitepapers, case studies, ebooks) that supports lead generation and thought leadership initiatives, and coordinate with design for gated asset production.
  • Localize and adapt copy for different regions and channels, working with localization teams or vendors to ensure cultural relevance and accuracy.

  • Support paid media teams by developing ad copy variations, responsive search ads, and creative scripts for video or audio formats that align with campaign objectives.
  • Manage small-scale content projects end-to-end, including timelines, briefs, stakeholder coordination, and final delivery to ensure on-time launches.
  • Experiment with AI-assisted writing tools and prompt engineering workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Bard) to accelerate ideation and first-draft generation while applying rigorous human editing and fact-checking.
  • Contribute to cross-channel content strategy meetings to align messaging priorities, audience segmentation, and lifecycle campaigns across acquisition, activation, and retention stages.
  • Participate in user testing sessions and customer interviews to validate messaging hypotheses and iterate on copy based on real user feedback.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
