Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted relationship manager for assigned corporate partners, vendors, and external stakeholders, maintaining consistent communications and addressing inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage partnership agreements, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), and service contracts in collaboration with Legal and Finance to ensure terms align with company strategy and compliance requirements.
  • Lead onboarding and implementation for new partners, coordinating cross-functional teams (product, operations, legal, finance, marketing) to deliver a seamless integration and launch.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized partner portfolio, including tracking engagement milestones, renewal dates, performance metrics and risk indicators using CRM and partnership-management tools.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships, cross-sell services, or create new joint initiatives that drive revenue, brand visibility, or programmatic impact.
  • Monitor partner performance against SLAs, KPIs and contractual obligations; prepare executive summaries and monthly/quarterly reports to inform leadership decisions.
  • Design and execute stakeholder engagement plans for priority partners, including regular business reviews, escalation protocols, and joint strategic planning sessions.
  • Represent the company at external meetings, industry events, advisory councils, and public forums, advocating company positions and securing favorable outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholder alignment across sales, product, operations, marketing and legal to ensure partner commitments are deliverable and integrated into company roadmaps.
  • Manage sensitive escalations and conflict resolution with diplomacy and speed; investigate issues, propose corrective actions, and follow-through until resolution.
  • Work with Finance to track partner-related budgets, invoicing, compensation structures and revenue recognition impacts to maintain financial integrity of partnerships.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new and existing partnerships—compliance, reputational, operational—and implement mitigation strategies in coordination with Compliance and Legal teams.
  • Lead partner-related project plans, timelines, resource allocation and status reporting, ensuring milestones are met and dependencies are managed.
  • Create and maintain standardized templates, playbooks and SOPs for partner onboarding, renewals, communications and performance reporting to increase operational efficiency.
  • Deliver clear, persuasive presentations and proposals to senior leadership and external stakeholders that summarize partnership value, ROI and strategic alignment.
  • Manage partner-related events, workshops and webinars—planning logistics, coordinating speakers and ensuring the events support engagement and business objectives.
  • Oversee data collection and analytics related to partner activity; translate insights into actionable recommendations for product, sales and marketing teams.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective partners and industry stakeholders to build a pipeline of strategic relationship opportunities aligned to corporate priorities.
  • Ensure partner compliance with legal, regulatory and corporate policies (data protection, privacy, vendor risk) and coordinate required audits or documentation requests.
  • Serve as an internal advocate for partner perspectives during product development and policy decisions to help shape partner-friendly solutions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional governance forums (steering committees, working groups) to maintain momentum on joint initiatives and resolve cross-cutting issues.
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM and partnership tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy for forecasting, reporting and renewal negotiation preparation.

Secondary Functions

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory analysis to quantify partner performance and opportunity size for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the organization's partnership strategy and roadmap by synthesizing market intelligence, partner feedback, and internal priorities.
  • Collaborate with business units to translate partnership requirements into operational or engineering requirements and ensure hand-offs are clear and prioritized.
  • Participate in cross-functional sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and status reviews when partnerships require software or product delivery involvement.
  • Assist Marketing and Communications in co-branded campaigns, case studies and partner success stories to amplify impact and drive demand.
  • Train and mentor junior liaison staff and partner-facing teams on best practices for engagement, contract management and escalation handling.
  • Maintain and update partner knowledge resources (FAQs, contact trees, escalation matrices) to reduce response times and improve partner experience.
  • Support preparation of RFP responses or partner qualification assessments as needed to secure strategic collaborations.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Proven proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) for partner tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Contract negotiation and vendor/partner agreement drafting experience, including familiarity with MOUs, SOWs and NDAs.
  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, revenue tracking, invoicing workflows, and basic P&L or cost-benefit analysis related to partnerships.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Asana, Jira, Trello, MS Project) to manage cross-functional deliverables.
  • Ability to build and maintain KPI dashboards and partner performance reports using Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of compliance, privacy and regulatory considerations relevant to corporate partnerships (e.g., data protection, vendor risk assessments).
  • Event planning and logistics management skills for partner workshops, summits and co-marketing activities.
  • Experience with stakeholder mapping and influence strategies to prioritize partner outreach and resource allocation.
  • Comfortable creating executive-level presentations and proposals in PowerPoint/Google Slides with persuasive narrative and data-backed recommendations.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems and vendor onboarding processes.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Political Science, or related field.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration, Communications, or a related graduate degree preferred but not required.
  • Professional certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2), negotiation, or contract management are advantageous.
