🎯 Role Definition
A Cytologist (also known as a Cytotechnologist or Cytotech) is a laboratory professional who prepares, stains, screens, and interprets cellular samples to detect cancerous, pre-cancerous, inflammatory, infectious, and other pathological conditions.
