Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Provide chairside assistance during restorative, endodontic, periodontal, oral surgery and pediatric procedures by passing instruments, preparing materials, operating suction and evacuation, and anticipating the dentist’s needs to maximize chair efficiency and patient comfort.
- Prepare and maintain operatory rooms between patients by disinfecting surfaces, arranging instruments and supplies, setting up barriers, and ensuring all equipment is functioning per clinic standards and infection-control protocols.
