Primary Functions

  • Prepare accurate, itemized treatment estimates using CDT codes and practice management software; ensure consistency between clinical charting and fee estimates to minimize claim denials and patient confusion.
  • Coordinate scheduling for multi-visit treatments, including sequencing appointments for hygiene, surgery, restorative, follow-ups, and specialty referrals; track and proactively rebook missed critical appointments.
  • Serve as the liaison with dental laboratories and external specialists by preparing prescriptions, tracking case progress, communicating timelines, and resolving remakes or quality concerns.
