Primary Functions

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with orders, warrants, probation holds, and bench warrants; coordinate with law enforcement, probation officers, and other agencies to effect service or enforcement as required.
  • Process and manage sealed, confidential or restricted files (e.g., juvenile, domestic violence, identity protection) following statutory safeguards and court policies to limit unauthorized access.
  • Maintain courtroom and office technology for effective hearings: operate recording devices, video conferencing systems, electronic evidence presentation tools, and coordinate with IT to troubleshoot issues.
  • Prepare and process marriage licenses, name change petitions, or miscellaneous statutory filings when jurisdictionally assigned, ensuring forms are complete, fees collected, and records updated.
  • Respond to requests from attorneys, litigants, and the public for certified or uncertified copies of records, providing accurate and timely responses while adhering to fee schedules and record retention rules.
