Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Verify the accuracy, appropriateness and legality of prescriptions and medication orders by reviewing patient profiles, checking drug-drug and drug-allergy interactions, dose calculations, renal/hepatic adjustments, and clinical indications prior to dispensing.
