Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop, articulate, and implement comprehensive, long-term e-business and e-commerce strategies that align with overarching corporate goals and drive significant revenue growth.
- Advise senior leadership and key stakeholders on digital transformation initiatives, providing expert insights on e-commerce best practices, industry benchmarks, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and SWOT analysis to identify untapped market opportunities, potential threats, and areas for competitive differentiation.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets from various sources (web analytics, CRM, sales data, ERP) to generate actionable insights on customer behavior, sales trends, and campaign performance.
- Define, map, and continuously optimize the end-to-end digital customer journey to improve user experience (UX), increase engagement, and maximize conversion rates.
- Identify, evaluate, and present business cases for new online sales channels, digital partnerships, and international market expansion opportunities.
- Lead the requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and selection process for critical e-business technologies, including e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, PIM, and marketing automation tools.
- Act as the business lead on projects, overseeing the implementation, integration, and enhancement of e-business systems and ensuring they meet strategic and operational requirements.
- Formulate and champion strategies for website architecture, user experience (UX), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) based on data, A/B testing, and user feedback.
