Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Manage the complete project lifecycle of EV charging infrastructure deployment, from initial site assessment and feasibility studies to commissioning and client handover.
- Design and engineer comprehensive EV charging solutions, including AC Level 2 and DC Fast Charging systems, for commercial, fleet, and multi-unit residential applications.
- Conduct detailed technical site surveys to determine optimal charger placement, electrical capacity requirements, and necessary infrastructure upgrades.
- Develop and review technical specifications, single-line diagrams, and construction documents for EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) installations.
- Act as the primary technical expert during the sales cycle, providing consultation to clients and supporting the business development team in crafting winning proposals.
- Interface directly with utilities, municipalities, and permitting authorities to ensure all projects comply with local electrical codes, zoning regulations, and grid interconnection standards.
- Stay at the cutting edge of e-mobility technology, including new EV models, battery technology, V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) capabilities, and evolving charging standards like CCS and NACS.
- Lead the commissioning, testing, and validation process for newly installed charging stations to guarantee full functionality, safety, and network integration.
- Provide high-level technical support and advanced troubleshooting for operational charging stations, diagnosing hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Evaluate and select EV charging hardware and network management software (CMS) from various vendors based on project requirements, reliability, and total cost of ownership.
