Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, conceptualize, and execute the overall creative vision and narrative for live esports broadcasts, tournaments, and related shoulder content.
  • Create and meticulously manage the run-of-show (ROS), segment timings, and broadcast scripts to ensure a seamless and engaging viewing experience.
  • Direct the live broadcast from the control room, calling cues for cameras, replays, graphics, video packages, and audio to guide the entire production crew.
  • Collaborate closely with and manage on-air talent, including hosts, casters, and analysts, providing them with clear direction, feedback, and necessary show information.
  • Oversee all production elements during live shows, including graphics, video packages, and in-game observer feeds, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of production projects, from initial concept and budgeting through to final delivery and post-event reporting.
  • Liaise with game publishers, league operations teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure all competitive and broadcast requirements are perfectly aligned.
  • Lead pre-production meetings, technical rehearsals, and post-mortems to continuously refine and improve the broadcast quality and workflow.
  • Source, hire, and manage freelance production staff, including directors, replay operators, graphics operators, and audio engineers for specific events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical issues in real-time during high-pressure live broadcast environments.
  • Direct observer teams to capture the most compelling in-game action, ensuring the broadcast tells a clear and exciting story of the match.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the specific game's meta, community, and competitive scene to produce authentic and resonant content.
