Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop, plan, and execute a comprehensive calendar of online and offline e-sports tournaments, leagues, and community events from concept to completion.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of e-sports events, including prize pool distribution, rule set creation, player registration, bracket management, and scheduling.
  • Act as the primary administrator for live and online competitions, providing real-time support, enforcing rules, and resolving player disputes to ensure competitive integrity.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with professional players, teams, content creators, influencers, and community leaders to foster a healthy and engaged ecosystem.
  • Manage and grow our dedicated e-sports community channels, including Discord, Twitter, and Reddit, by creating engaging content and fostering positive discussions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies and campaigns that drive awareness and viewership for our e-sports initiatives.
  • Develop compelling narratives and storytelling around our competitive scene, players, and tournaments to enhance fan engagement and build emotional investment.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for all e-sports programs, including viewership, participation, and community sentiment, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our official e-sports social media accounts, ensuring a consistent brand voice and timely communication.
  • Liaise with sponsors, partners, and vendors to secure and fulfill partnership agreements, ensuring all deliverables are met to a high standard.
  • Stay at the forefront of the e-sports industry by continuously monitoring trends, competitor activities, emerging platforms, and new game titles.
  • Manage budgets for e-sports events and programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
  • Coordinate with legal and finance departments for player contracts, prize payments, sponsorship agreements, and other administrative requirements.
  • Operate broadcast production software (e.g., OBS, XSplit) to manage live streams, create on-screen graphics, and produce a high-quality viewing experience for fans.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for influencer and content creator collaborations, from identification and outreach to campaign execution and performance reporting.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive database of players, teams, casters, and key industry contacts for future engagement opportunities.
  • Assist in the scouting and recruitment of promising talent and competitive teams to represent our brand in the e-sSports ecosystem.
  • Produce detailed post-mortem reports for all major events and campaigns to identify successes, challenges, and key learnings for future initiatives.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the competitive community, gathering feedback and addressing concerns to directly influence product and program development.
  • Plan and manage all travel, accommodation, and logistical requirements for players and staff attending LAN events and international competitions.
  • Develop and maintain official tournament rulebooks and player conduct policies, updating them as the competitive meta and community standards evolve.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape for specific game titles (e.g., VALORANT, League of Legends, Apex Legends, etc.).
  • Proven proficiency with tournament administration platforms such as Battlefy, Toornament, or Challonge.
  • Hands-on experience with live streaming software and production tools like OBS, XSplit, and Streamlabs.
  • Advanced proficiency in community management and communication platforms, especially Discord, Twitter, and Reddit.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) to track tasks and manage complex timelines.
  • Basic content creation skills, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) for minor edits and asset creation.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track KPIs related to viewership, engagement, and player participation.
