Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Assist the lead teacher in the successful implementation of daily lesson plans and educational activities designed to engage a diverse student population.
- Provide targeted one-on-one and small group instruction to reinforce learning concepts and help students master key skills in subjects like reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Support students with diverse learning needs by implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the direct guidance of certified special education staff.

- Diligently supervise students during non-instructional periods, including lunch, recess, assemblies, and transitions, to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

- Facilitate the use of educational technology, assisting students with tablets, interactive whiteboards, and learning applications to enhance the instructional experience.

- Maintain open, consistent, and professional communication with the lead teacher regarding student progress, behavioral observations, and any potential concerns.
