Primary Functions
- Conduct in-depth, comprehensive intake interviews with job seekers to thoroughly assess their skills, work history, education, career ambitions, and potential barriers to employment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized employment action plans, collaboratively setting realistic goals and outlining actionable steps for job searching, skill development, and placement.
- Proactively source and engage with local and regional employers through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing to build a strong pipeline of job opportunities and understand their specific hiring needs.
- Provide expert one-on-one coaching and guidance to candidates on modern job search strategies, including resume and cover letter optimization, professional branding, and effective networking techniques.
- Deliver dynamic and informative workshops and training sessions to groups of clients on critical job readiness topics such as interview skills, salary negotiation, and workplace professionalism.
- Skillfully match qualified candidates to suitable job openings, managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from application submission and interview coordination to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with both hiring managers (clients) and job seekers (candidates) to ensure a positive experience and foster future business.
- Manage a diverse and active caseload of clients, ensuring consistent communication, timely service delivery, and progress toward employment goals to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, including online job boards, professional social networks like LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and industry events to attract a high-caliber talent pool.
- Screen, interview, and rigorously assess candidates against client requirements, presenting a curated shortlist of the most qualified individuals with detailed summaries.
- Provide dedicated post-placement support and follow-up to both the newly hired employee and the employer to promote job retention, address any initial challenges, and ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Stay meticulously informed about current labor market trends, industry growth sectors, in-demand skills, and government employment programs to provide relevant and timely advice.
- Advocate on behalf of clients who may face barriers to employment, connecting them with essential community resources, support services, and relevant upskilling or training providers.
- Actively market recruitment services to potential new clients through strategic business development activities, presentations, and building a reputation as a trusted talent advisor.
Secondary Functions
- Maintain highly accurate, confidential, and up-to-date case notes and client records within the CRM or case management system, meticulously tracking all activities, progress, and outcomes.
