Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting for a high volume of roles, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback consolidation, offer negotiation, and closing.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake meetings with hiring managers to deeply understand position requirements, team dynamics, and the ideal candidate profile.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to build robust, diverse talent pipelines for current and future openings using a variety of tools and platforms.
  • Actively source passive candidates through advanced search techniques, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Perform in-depth behavioral and competency-based interviews to rigorously assess candidate qualifications, experience, and alignment with company values.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring timely, transparent, and professional communication with all applicants throughout the entire process.
  • Partner with and advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and effective evaluation criteria to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Craft compelling and inclusive job descriptions that accurately reflect role responsibilities and attract a wide array of qualified applicants.
  • Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all candidate data, interactions, and statuses are accurately and meticulously tracked.
  • Negotiate complex offers of employment by partnering with HR and hiring managers, and effectively extend and close candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on all matters related to talent acquisition.
  • Coordinate complex interview schedules across multiple departments and time zones, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and interviewers.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to inform and refine recruiting strategies.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, university recruitment events, and industry meetups to promote our employer brand and attract talent.
  • Facilitate interview debrief sessions with hiring panels to discuss feedback, calibrate on candidates, and drive to a hiring decision.

Secondary Functions

  • Generate and analyze recruitment metrics and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rate.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives by assisting with social media content and other campaigns that showcase our company culture.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (EEO, OFCCP).
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies or vendors as needed, overseeing performance and ensuring alignment with our hiring standards.
  • Participate in projects aimed at continuously improving the talent acquisition process, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, and using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations (EEO, ADA, OFCCP).
  • Ability to analyze recruitment data and metrics to inform strategy and report on performance.
  • Competency in using HRIS and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) for scheduling and communication.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, particularly in managing compensation discussions and closing candidates.
  • Superior organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing a high volume of requisitions simultaneously.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical work experience in recruiting.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related discipline. Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
