Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive and innovative calendar of enrichment programs, workshops, and events that cater to the developmental, educational, social, and recreational needs of the target population.
- Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of programs, including scheduling facilities, arranging transportation, managing equipment, and booking external instructors or vendors.
- Develop and manage the annual enrichment program budget, ensuring accurate tracking of all expenditures, adherence to financial constraints, and cost-effective procurement of supplies and services.
- Actively recruit, onboard, train, and supervise a team of part-time staff, instructors, and volunteers, providing ongoing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with community partners, local businesses, schools, and vendors to enhance program offerings and expand community resources.
- Create and distribute compelling marketing and communication materials, including newsletters, flyers, social media updates, and website content, to effectively promote programs and drive participation.
- Establish and oversee a streamlined registration and enrollment process, maintaining meticulous and confidential records of participant data, attendance, and emergency contact information.
- Proactively ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants and staff, consistently enforcing organizational policies, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness and impact of programs through participant surveys, feedback sessions, direct observation, and data analysis, using the findings to drive continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and their families, maintaining open and professional lines of communication to address inquiries, provide updates, and resolve concerns.
- Directly facilitate and lead certain activities, workshops, or classes as needed, demonstrating strong group management skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
