Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive celebrity and influencer outreach strategy that aligns with brand objectives, key marketing initiatives, and product launch calendars.
  • Proactively identify, build, and maintain strong, direct relationships with key players in the entertainment industry, including talent, agents, managers, publicists, stylists, and other representatives.
  • Lead the end-to-end talent procurement process, from initial identification and vetting to outreach, pitching, negotiation, and contract execution for paid and earned opportunities.
  • Negotiate complex deal memos and long-form agreements for talent engagements, including endorsements, social media campaigns, event appearances, and content creation, ensuring favorable terms for the brand.
  • Manage all logistical aspects for talent participation in brand activities, including coordinating travel, accommodations, glam squads, detailed itineraries, and on-site schedules.
  • Serve as the primary, high-touch point of contact for all talent and their representatives before, during, and after engagements, ensuring a seamless and premium brand experience.
  • Oversee and manage the execution of VIP and celebrity-focused events, from red carpet appearances and green room hospitality to exclusive dinners and brand junkets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Marketing, PR, Social Media, and Legal teams to ensure all talent partnerships are strategically integrated, amplified across channels, and legally compliant.
  • Secure strategic product placement and brand integrations in film, television, music videos, and digital content to increase organic brand visibility.
  • Manage and track substantial budgets for talent fees, partnerships, travel, and related activation expenses, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and ROI of all entertainment marketing initiatives, tracking metrics such as media value, impressions, engagement, and sentiment.
  • Stay ahead of entertainment industry trends, celebrity news, and cultural moments to identify proactive and reactive opportunities for the brand to engage.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date database of industry contacts, talent profiles, and past partnership performance.
  • Act as the lead on-site handler for talent during photo/video shoots, press interviews, and events, anticipating needs and troubleshooting any issues that arise with professionalism and discretion.
  • Draft compelling briefing materials, talking points, and creative briefs for talent to ensure brand messaging is communicated accurately and authentically.
  • Manage a strategic gift seeding program, curating and distributing products to a targeted list of high-profile individuals, tastemakers, and influencers to foster goodwill and organic placement.

  • Budget Management: Experience creating, managing, and reconciling large-scale budgets for talent fees and marketing activations.
  • Public Relations Strategy: Deep understanding of how to leverage talent partnerships to generate positive media coverage and earned media value.
  • Project Management: Expertise in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, using tools like Asana, Monday.com, or similar.
  • CRM/Database Management: Proficiency in maintaining contact and relationship databases (e.g., Salesforce, Airtable) for tracking and reporting.
  • Media Monitoring & Analytics: Familiarity with tools like Cision, Meltwater, or Tribe Dynamics to track campaign performance and media mentions.

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 5-10 years of progressive experience in a role focused on talent relations, celebrity procurement, or entertainment marketing.

Preferred: Direct experience working within a top-tier public relations agency, talent agency (e.g., CAA, WME), or in an in-house entertainment relations role for a major consumer or luxury brand. A proven track record of successfully executed A-list talent campaigns is highly desirable.
