Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions

- Meticulously prepare samples for analysis using a variety of wet chemistry and extraction techniques, such as solid-phase extraction (SPE), acid digestion, and solvent extraction.
- Review, interpret, and validate analytical data with a high degree of accuracy, identifying and investigating any anomalies, deviations, or out-of-control trends.
- Prepare, assemble, and review comprehensive data packages and analytical reports for submission to clients, project managers, and regulatory agencies.
- Utilize a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample log-in, tracking, data entry, results processing, and final report generation.
- Maintain clear, detailed, and defensible documentation of all laboratory activities, from sample receipt to final data reporting, in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
- Author, review, and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for analytical methods, instrument operation, and laboratory safety protocols.
