Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive and engaging training materials for various Epic applications, including instructor-led manuals, e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, and competency assessments.
- Deliver high-quality, role-based classroom and virtual training sessions to a diverse audience of physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and user proficiency.

- Administer proficiency assessments and class evaluations to measure training effectiveness, and adapt training methods and materials based on feedback and performance data.
- Manage and maintain the Epic training environment (Master Train environment), ensuring it accurately mirrors the production environment and is prepared for all training sessions.
- Develop and manage role-based training schedules, class rosters, and logistics using a Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure all users receive appropriate training.
- Participate in workflow validation sessions and system testing to identify potential training gaps or usability challenges before implementation.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned Epic modules, providing ongoing support and knowledge sharing for the help desk and other support teams.
- Conduct needs analyses by observing end-user workflows and meeting with department managers to identify specific training needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and manage a repository of training resources, ensuring all materials are up-to-date, easily accessible, and compliant with organizational standards.
- Provide personalized, one-on-one training and remediation for users who require additional assistance to achieve proficiency.
- Develop and deliver specialized training programs for new hires, system upgrades, and the rollout of new Epic modules or functionalities.
