Primary Functions

  • Design, manage, and execute complex epidemiologic studies, including cohort, case-control, and cross-sectional study designs, to investigate determinants of health and disease.

  • Manage large, complex, and often disparate datasets, which includes cleaning, linking, merging, and restructuring data from various public health and healthcare sources.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all data privacy and security protocols, such as HIPAA and IRB requirements, when handling sensitive protected health information (PHI).
