Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Lead client-facing workshops and discovery sessions to analyze, define, and meticulously document 'as-is' and 'to-be' business processes across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and other key domains.
  • Architect, design, and configure comprehensive ERP solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365) to meet specific client requirements, ensuring scalability and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of ERP implementation projects, from initial scoping and planning through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Develop and present detailed gap analysis reports, identifying areas where client requirements deviate from standard ERP functionality and proposing effective workaround or customization strategies.
  • Act as the primary liaison between key business stakeholders, executive leadership, and technical development teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Oversee the entire data migration lifecycle, including strategy development, data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading (ETL) from legacy systems to the new ERP environment.
  • Create and manage comprehensive project documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Specifications (FDS), test plans, and project status reports.
  • Plan and execute system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), including the development of test scripts, management of defect resolution, and securing formal business sign-off.
  • Deliver expert-level, hands-on training to end-users and super-users, developing robust training materials and documentation to drive user adoption and ensure a smooth change management process.
  • Provide critical post-go-live hypercare and ongoing support, troubleshooting complex system issues, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and system optimization.
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert (SME) on ERP modules and functionality, advising clients on how to leverage their system to achieve strategic objectives and a strong return on investment.
  • Manage project scope, timeline, and budget, proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation plans to ensure project milestones are met successfully.
  • Conduct system and process health checks for existing ERP clients, recommending enhancements, new modules, or process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Guide clients through complex change management processes, communicating the value of the new system and helping to foster buy-in across all levels of the organization.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling system demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients as part of the pre-sales process, showcasing the power and potential of the ERP solution.

Secondary Functions

  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, sharing knowledge of ERP systems, implementation methodologies, and consulting best practices.
  • Stay current with the latest ERP technology trends, updates, and third-party integrations to provide innovative and forward-thinking solutions to clients.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the consulting practice's internal methodologies, templates, and reusable knowledge assets.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory data analysis to provide business insights for clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist in scoping new projects and writing Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies when projects are managed using an Agile or Hybrid methodology.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • ERP Platform Proficiency: Deep functional and configuration expertise in at least one major ERP system (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Infor).
  • Business Process Modeling: Ability to map and re-engineer complex business processes using tools like Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and an understanding of notations like BPMN.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Proven experience with Waterfall, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and Hybrid project management frameworks.
  • Data Management & Migration: Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data validation techniques, and experience with data migration tools.
  • SQL & Reporting: Proficiency in writing basic to intermediate SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting; experience with ERP-native reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, NetSuite Saved Searches, SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Full-Cycle Implementation Experience: Demonstrable experience leading or playing a key role in a minimum of two full-cycle ERP implementations.
  • Module Specialization: In-depth knowledge of core ERP modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, or Manufacturing.

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
