Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Operate production line machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assemble components and finished products accurately according to blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions.
- Perform rigorous in-process and final quality control inspections to ensure products meet stringent quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor the production process, watching for any malfunctions or irregularities, and promptly report issues to the shift supervisor or maintenance team.
- Load raw materials into production machinery and unload finished products for processing, packaging, or storage.
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials as required by production formulas and batch records.
- Pack, label, and palletize finished goods, ensuring they are ready for shipping or warehouse storage in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles and company safety protocols.
- Assist in routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Manage and transport materials, supplies, and finished products within the factory using pallet jacks, dollies, or other material handling equipment.
- Keep detailed and accurate production records, including logs of output, downtime, quality checks, and material usage.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming products or materials and report discrepancies to the quality assurance department.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet production targets and resolve operational challenges.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Secondary Functions
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management to ensure the availability of necessary supplies and materials.
- Read and interpret work orders, schematics, and production schedules to understand daily tasks and priorities.
- Sort and inspect raw materials upon receipt to ensure they meet the required specifications before entering the production cycle.
- Support the setup and changeover of production lines for different products, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Report any workplace hazards, incidents, or near-misses immediately to ensure a proactive approach to safety.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.
- Handle and dispose of waste materials according to environmental and company guidelines.
- Provide operational support and assistance to senior machine operators and technicians as needed.
Required Skills & Competencies
Hard Skills (Technical)
- Proficiency in operating basic manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Ability to use various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics for measurements, counting, and record-keeping.
- Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks). Forklift certification is a major plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety data sheets (SDS), and technical instructions.
- Foundational understanding of health and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting (e.g., OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures).
- Basic computer literacy for data entry into production tracking systems.

Minimum Education:
