Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Act as a dedicated brand ambassador, embodying the brand’s values and aesthetic in every client interaction to create a lasting impression.
  • Drive and consistently exceed individual and team sales goals by leveraging expert product knowledge and strategic selling techniques.
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, style preferences, and lifestyle, providing tailored recommendations and wardrobing advice.
  • Cultivate and nurture a personal client book, implementing strategic outreach and follow-up to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Deliver a superior, high-touch customer service experience from initial greeting to final transaction, ensuring a seamless and luxurious journey.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all product categories, including materials, fit, construction, and brand history, to compellingly articulate value.
  • Masterfully manage the fitting room experience by providing attentive service, suggesting alternative styles, and helping to build complete looks.

  • Process all Point of Sale (POS) transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including sales, returns, exchanges, and gift wrapping.
  • Stay acutely aware of current fashion trends, seasonal collections, and competitor activities to provide informed and relevant styling insights.
  • Actively capture and maintain accurate client information within the CRM system to support targeted marketing and clienteling efforts.

Secondary Functions

  • Meticulously maintain and elevate the store's visual presentation according to brand guidelines, ensuring the sales floor is always immaculate and inspiring.
  • Assist in the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise, including unpacking, sensor tagging, and organizing new arrivals.
  • Participate diligently in regular inventory management activities, such as cycle counts and stock-takes, to ensure accuracy and minimize loss.
  • Support the execution of in-store promotions, markdowns, and special events to enhance the customer experience and drive traffic.
  • Proactively replenish merchandise on the sales floor to ensure all sizes and styles are represented and easily accessible to clients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom and back-of-house environment to support the sales team.
  • Collaborate positively and effectively with all team members to achieve common goals and foster a supportive, high-performance culture.
  • Engage actively in all product knowledge training sessions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Communicate valuable client feedback and product trends to the store management team to inform future business decisions.
  • Support omnichannel initiatives by assisting with online order fulfillment, such as Buy Online Pickup In-Store and Ship-from-Store services.

  • Point of Sale (POS) Systems: Proficiency in operating retail POS software for transactions, returns, and reporting.
  • Clienteling Software (CRM): Experience using customer relationship management tools to manage client data and communication.

  • Visual Merchandising: An eye for aesthetics and the ability to execute visual directives to create appealing product displays.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within retail, hospitality, or a service-oriented industry.
