Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and gaps in the market, translating findings into actionable product strategies.
  • Develop and present seasonal trend reports and mood boards to key stakeholders, including design, merchandising, and marketing teams, to ensure a cohesive and relevant collection.
  • Collaborate with the buying and design teams to build and curate balanced product assortments that align with the brand identity, seasonal themes, and commercial targets.
  • Analyze sell-through data, sales reports, and customer feedback to optimize product performance, identify best-sellers, and recommend adjustments to in-season inventory.
  • Provide expert-level styling for e-commerce photoshoots, campaign imagery, and social media content, ensuring product is presented in an appealing and brand-aligned manner.
  • Develop and maintain visual merchandising guidelines for retail stores to create a compelling customer experience and drive sales through effective product placement and storytelling.
  • Act as a key product knowledge expert for the entire organization, delivering engaging training sessions to retail and customer service teams on new collections, styling techniques, and key selling points.
  • Manage and maintain the seasonal sample collection, overseeing its organization, tracking, and use for photoshoots, press requests, and showroom appointments.
  • Foster and manage relationships with high-value clients through personalized styling consultations, clienteling, and exclusive event invitations to build loyalty and drive revenue.
  • Partner with the marketing and PR teams to provide fashion-forward insights and product selections for editorial features, influencer collaborations, and media placements.
  • Monitor product quality control by working closely with production teams, inspecting samples, and providing detailed feedback to ensure final products meet brand standards.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of seasonal collection launches, including coordinating deliverables and supporting cross-functional team alignment.
  • Curate and manage product collections on the e-commerce site, ensuring logical categorization, compelling product descriptions, and optimized visual presentation.
  • Plan and execute the styling for fashion shows, presentations, and market week appointments, ensuring the collection is presented to its best advantage.
  • Source and manage relationships with third-party vendors for accessories, props, and other materials needed for photoshoots and visual displays.
  • Define the ideal customer profile and journey, using this insight to influence product development, marketing messaging, and the overall brand experience.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess visual merchandising implementation, gather direct customer feedback, and provide on-the-ground support to retail teams.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on product performance, trend forecasts, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Participate in fit sessions with the technical design team, providing feedback on the style, drape, and wearability of garments to ensure they meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Stay consistently updated on fashion history, designer archives, and cultural movements to bring a rich, informed perspective to all brand and product decisions.
  • Drive the narrative for seasonal campaigns, translating product features and design inspiration into compelling stories that resonate with the target audience.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of in-store events, trunk shows, and product launch activations to enhance customer engagement.
  • Maintain and organize the physical and digital sample library, ensuring all products are accurately tracked and accounted for.
  • Contribute to seasonal training materials for retail staff, educating them on new collections, key trends, and advanced styling techniques.
