Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Cultivate and maintain strategic, long-term trusting relationships with a portfolio of key clients to foster loyalty and prevent churn.
- Act as the primary liaison and trusted advisor between clients and our internal teams, including customer support, product development, and marketing.
- Proactively travel within an assigned geographic territory to conduct regular face-to-face meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions with key stakeholders.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client's business objectives, challenges, and industry landscape to effectively align our solutions with their needs.
- Identify, pursue, and close upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue and expand our footprint.
- Lead the entire sales cycle for expansion opportunities, from initial prospecting and needs analysis to proposal delivery, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Develop and execute detailed strategic account plans and territory plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Deliver compelling and customized product demonstrations and sales presentations that clearly articulate value and ROI to diverse audiences, from technical users to C-level executives.
- Skillfully negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service to ensure profitable agreements that are mutually beneficial for both the client and the company.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account status updates to sales leadership on a regular basis.
- Meticulously track and document all client interactions, sales activities, and opportunity progression within the company's CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, providing critical feedback to product and marketing teams to influence future product enhancements and go-to-market strategies.
- Efficiently resolve complex client issues and escalations by coordinating with internal resources to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
- Conduct thorough strategic business reviews (QBRs) with clients to showcase value delivered, review performance metrics, and identify future growth opportunities.
- Stay consistently informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge and provide insightful guidance to clients.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation to close, ensuring a healthy funnel of opportunities to meet long-term revenue goals.
- Collaborate closely with the inside sales and business development teams to ensure a seamless handoff and consistent experience for new clients.
- Provide on-site training, onboarding support, and continuous education to clients to drive product adoption and ensure they are maximizing the value of our services.
- Analyze client usage data and engagement metrics to identify at-risk accounts and proactively implement retention strategies.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate new business leads.
- Develop and nurture a network of advocates and champions within each key account to embed our solutions deeply within their organization.
- Independently manage travel schedules, budgets, and administrative tasks associated with field-based activities to operate efficiently and cost-effectively.
