Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute a comprehensive calendar of regional field marketing events, including trade shows, industry conferences, customer meetups, and executive roundtables, to drive brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
- Manage all end-to-end logistics for virtual and in-person events, from venue sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management to catering, audio/visual setup, and staffing.
- Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to identify key markets, target accounts, and strategic event opportunities that align directly with quarterly sales goals and pipeline targets.
- Oversee the complex logistics of shipping and handling for all event materials, including booth properties, marketing collateral, promotional items (swag), and technical equipment.
- Develop and meticulously manage detailed project plans, timelines, and checklists for each program to ensure all milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
- Track and manage individual event budgets, process invoices in a timely manner, and deliver post-event financial reconciliation and ROI analysis to marketing leadership.
- Act as the primary on-site brand ambassador and point of contact during events, ensuring a high-quality, professional, and positive experience for all prospects, customers, and partners.
- Drive pre-event promotion and registration through targeted email campaigns, social media outreach, and direct sales enablement, in partnership with the digital and sales teams.
- Coordinate with sales leadership to ensure disciplined and timely post-event follow-up on all leads, using our CRM system to track MQL-to-SQL conversion and campaign influence.
- Manage and maintain a central inventory of marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, and event assets, placing orders as needed to ensure stock levels are always sufficient.
- Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and event partners to ensure seamless execution and cost-effective, high-value services.
- Support the creation of event-specific marketing assets, including landing pages, email invitations, one-pagers, and slide decks, by collaborating with content and design teams.
- Conduct thorough post-event debriefs with key sales and marketing stakeholders to gather critical feedback, evaluate event success against established KPIs, and identify areas for future improvement.
- Research industry trends and monitor the competitive landscape to recommend new and innovative field marketing tactics and unique opportunities for brand engagement.
- Utilize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) to build and execute event-related campaigns, segment audience lists, and report on email and registration performance.
- Ensure all field marketing activities, leads, and expenses are accurately documented and tracked in our project management tools and CRM for complete visibility and attribution.
- Communicate event strategies, objectives, and logistical details clearly and consistently to all internal stakeholders, including sales, BDRs, marketing, and executive leadership.
- Support the broader demand generation team with regional campaign execution, including direct mail programs, account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives, and partner co-marketing.
- Manage the entire lead capture process at events, ensuring data is collected accurately and uploaded promptly into the CRM for correct routing and attribution.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive, forward-looking calendar of all field marketing activities, providing clear visibility for the entire go-to-market organization.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with event organizers, venues, and third-party vendors to maximize value, mitigate risk, and minimize costs.

Secondary Functions
