Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets related to field service, sales, or installation activities to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for field teams, providing regular performance scorecards and insights to operational leadership.
- Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools using BI platforms (like Tableau or Power BI) to provide real-time visibility into field operations.

- Conduct deep-dive analyses into specific operational issues, such as technician dispatch efficiency, territory alignment, sales cycle length, or inventory management.
- Manage and optimize the use of field operations software and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceMax), ensuring data integrity and user adoption.
- Develop and refine forecasting models for workforce planning, demand prediction, and resource management to ensure optimal staffing and readiness.
- Identify and document current-state business processes, mapping out workflows to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for strategic process re-engineering.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects aimed at implementing new technologies, tools, or operational procedures for the field organization.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes, reporting standards, and system usage to serve as a resource for the team.
- Translate business requirements from field stakeholders into technical specifications for the data and engineering teams.
- Perform territory analysis and optimization to ensure balanced workloads, maximize coverage, and align with strategic business goals.
- Support the quarterly and annual planning process by providing historical data analysis and forward-looking operational models.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries from the field, providing timely and accurate information to support day-to-day decisions.

- Monitor data quality within core operational systems and collaborate with IT to implement data governance and cleansing initiatives.
