Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Actively research, identify, and prospect potential new clients within a designated territory through various methods including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  • Shadow and support senior sales executives on field visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations to learn effective sales strategies and relationship-building techniques firsthand.
  • Learn to manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by utilizing CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, and all client interactions.
  • Assist in preparing compelling and customized sales presentations, proposals, and quotes that address specific client needs and clearly articulate our value proposition.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls and needs analysis with prospective customers to qualify leads and understand their business challenges and objectives.
  • Develop a deep and comprehensive understanding of our product suite, services, and competitive landscape to confidently answer client questions and handle objections.
  • Contribute to achieving team sales goals by supporting all stages of the sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through consistent and professional follow-up communication.
  • Accompany sales team members to industry trade shows, networking events, and conferences to generate new leads and represent the company brand.
  • Learn and apply strategic territory management principles, including account mapping, route planning, and prioritizing high-potential prospects.
  • Participate in mock sales calls and presentation role-playing sessions to build confidence and refine your communication and persuasion skills.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of sales strategies, and contribute to weekly team reporting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage marketing campaigns and materials for lead generation and follow-up activities.
  • Provide post-sale support by coordinating with the implementation and customer success teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.

Secondary Functions

  • Support ad-hoc data requests and exploratory data analysis to uncover new market opportunities or customer segments.
  • Contribute to the organization's go-to-market strategy by providing feedback from the field on customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal business units, including Marketing and Product Development, to translate customer feedback into actionable insights.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies within the sales team to ensure alignment on weekly and monthly objectives.
  • Maintain impeccable data hygiene within the CRM system, ensuring all contact information, notes, and deal stages are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in the creation and organization of sales enablement materials and resources for the broader sales team.
  • Gather and document customer testimonials and success stories that can be used as powerful sales and marketing collateral.
  • Help coordinate logistics for team meetings, client entertainment, and regional sales events.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or a recent graduate.
