Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support robust forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis of actual financial performance against budget and forecast, delivering insightful commentary and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

- Assist in the preparation of materials and presentations for Board of Directors meetings, investor relations calls, and executive-level business reviews.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data across financial systems (ERP, CRM), collaborating with IT and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and build sophisticated scenario models to support strategic decision-making by the executive leadership team.
- Analyze working capital components, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels, to recommend strategies for optimizing cash flow.
- Support the month-end and quarter-end close process by preparing key journal entries, accruals, and performing account reconciliations in partnership with the accounting team.
- Track and analyze operational metrics and their direct impact on financial performance, effectively bridging the gap between operational activities and financial outcomes.
- Investigate operating expenses (OpEx) and cost of goods sold (COGS) to identify opportunities for significant cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain a strong, current understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles to ensure all financial reporting and analysis are compliant with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to guarantee a timely and accurate monthly close, providing analytical support and narrative for financial statements.

Hard Skills (Technical)

- Financial Modeling: Proven ability to build three-statement financial models, DCF, LBO, and scenario/sensitivity analyses from scratch.
