Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Cultivate and manage long-term client relationships by providing holistic financial planning, investment strategies, and ongoing portfolio oversight.
  • Proactively prospect, network, and develop new business opportunities to grow and maintain a substantial client base of high-net-worth individuals and/or institutions.
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to meticulously assess their financial objectives, risk appetite, time horizons, and overall wealth profile.
  • Develop and present customized, comprehensive financial plans and investment proposals that align with the client's identified goals and circumstances.
  • Execute the buying and selling of a wide range of securities, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and other financial instruments, on behalf of clients.
  • Continuously monitor client portfolios and market conditions, making strategic adjustments and rebalancing assets as necessary to optimize performance and manage risk.
  • Educate clients on market trends, economic outlooks, and the specific details of their investment products, ensuring they make well-informed decisions.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to provide performance reviews, market updates, and to identify new opportunities or changes in their financial needs.
  • Generate and present detailed performance reports that clearly articulate portfolio returns, risk metrics, and progress toward financial goals.
  • Master and effectively articulate the firm’s investment philosophy, research, and the full spectrum of available products and services.
  • Diligently identify and pursue opportunities for asset consolidation by encouraging clients to bring in assets held at other financial institutions.
  • Onboard new clients by guiding them through the account opening process, including all necessary documentation and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists, such as trust and estate planners or insurance experts, to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions.
  • Drive revenue and asset growth by consistently meeting or exceeding established sales targets and business development goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of complex financial products and be able to explain their risks and benefits in simple, understandable terms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries, requests, and service-related issues, ensuring a swift and satisfactory resolution.

Secondary Functions

  • Meticulously maintain client records and interaction logs within the company's CRM system to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Stay current with all relevant industry regulations, compliance standards, and firm policies to ensure all activities are conducted ethically and legally.
  • Dedicate time to continuous professional development, including pursuing advanced certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) and attending industry seminars.
  • Analyze market research, economic reports, and firm-provided analytics to inform investment decisions and client conversations.
  • Prepare detailed materials and presentations for quarterly or annual client review meetings.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to share best practices, discuss market strategies, and contribute to the overall success of the branch.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • FINRA Licensing: Active and in good standing FINRA Series 7, 63, and/or 66 licenses are mandatory.
  • Financial Market Acumen: Deep and broad knowledge of capital markets, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.
  • Portfolio Management: Proficiency in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management techniques.
  • Financial Planning Software: Experience with financial planning tools such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar platforms.
  • Trading Platforms: Competency in using brokerage trading software and order execution systems.
  • CRM Proficiency: Skilled in using CRM software like Salesforce to manage client relationships and sales pipelines.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

Minimum Education:
