Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new client relationships through strategic networking, qualified referral generation, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct comprehensive, in-depth discovery meetings with prospective clients to meticulously understand their financial circumstances, life goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the firm's full suite of financial products, investment solutions, and service offerings to effectively address client needs.
  • Articulate complex financial concepts and investment strategies in a clear, compelling, and accessible manner to clients with varying levels of financial literacy.
  • Partner with Senior Financial Advisors to construct and present customized, holistic financial plans and investment proposals that align with clients' long-term goals.
  • Master and execute a disciplined sales process, from initial contact and lead qualification to presentation, closing, and onboarding new client accounts.
  • Consistently meet and exceed established targets for key performance indicators, including new client acquisition, asset gathering, and revenue generation.
  • Meticulously maintain and update client information, activities, and communication records within the firm’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure data integrity and streamline workflow.
  • Drive the entire client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience by managing all necessary paperwork and account setup procedures.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects to ensure a consistent and predictable flow of new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations for financial workshops, community seminars, and client appreciation events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Actively solicit client referrals and introductions, leveraging satisfied clients to expand your professional network and client base.
  • Collaborate with the internal support team to ensure all client requests and transactions are handled efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and regulatory compliance in all client interactions, adhering to FINRA, SEC, and firm-specific policies.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty, identify opportunities for asset consolidation, and generate further referrals.
  • Actively participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry expertise.
  • Initiate proactive, value-add communication with clients regarding market trends, portfolio performance, and potential planning opportunities.

Required Skills & Competencies

Hard Skills (Technical)

  • FINRA Licensing: Must obtain or already possess FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses.
  • Financial Product Knowledge: Foundational understanding of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, insurance, and annuity products.
  • Sales Methodologies: Proven ability in prospecting, lead generation, needs analysis, and closing sales.
  • CRM Software Proficiency: Experience using CRM platforms like Salesforce, Redtail, or similar systems to manage client relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Financial Planning Software: Familiarity with tools such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar financial planning software is a plus.
  • MS Office Suite: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for presentations, and Word for client communication.
  • Market Analysis: Ability to comprehend and discuss market trends, economic indicators, and investment research.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements (SEC, FINRA).

Educational Background
