Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Lead end-to-end client engagements to define strategy, roadmap, and implementation plans for retail banking, corporate banking, asset management, or insurance lines; synthesize market research, regulatory drivers and client objectives into clear recommendations and prioritized initiatives.
- Build and validate detailed financial models, business cases and ROI analyses to support strategic decisions such as new product launches, pricing optimization, channel investments or branch/network rationalization.
- Design and execute credit, liquidity and capital optimization frameworks; perform stress-testing, portfolio analytics, and scenario analysis to quantify balance sheet impact and capital efficiencies.
- Conduct comprehensive regulatory gap assessments and remediation plans (AML / KYC, Basel III/IV, Dodd‑Frank, MiFID II, IFRS 9/17) and coordinate with compliance and legal teams to implement sustainable controls and reporting.
- Lead process diagnostics and operational improvement programs using Lean/Six Sigma principles to reduce costs, improve SLAs and strengthen controls across onboarding, servicing, loan processing and payments.
- Develop detailed functional and technical requirements for digital and core banking transformations, including vendor selection support, RFP/RFI preparation and evaluation, and integration planning with payments, CRM and data platforms.
- Deliver client workshops, stakeholder interviews and co-creation sessions to map current-state processes, define target operating models, and secure executive buy-in for recommended change.
- Design and implement data-driven reporting and governance frameworks; scope KPI definitions, data lineage, reconciliation controls and dashboards to improve decision-making for front-office, risk and finance teams.
- Support M&A and due diligence activities: perform financial, operational and regulatory due diligence, identify integration risks, and produce post-merger integration plans for systems, people and processes.
- Provide hands-on support for model validation, pricing engine calibration, and product profitability analytics using advanced Excel, VBA, Python or R where required.
- Lead the delivery of technology implementations (core banking, loan origination, CRM, payments, treasury systems), coordinate testing, runbooks, cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization.

- Develop repeatable accelerators, templates, and playbooks (e.g., onboarding frameworks, risk assessments, testing scripts) to speed delivery across engagements and maintain quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of internal consulting tools, methodology and IP; capture client lessons learned and translate them into firm offerings and thought leadership.
Secondary Functions
