Core Responsibilities
Primary Functions
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency action plans in line with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough and regular fire risk assessments for all company premises, identifying potential hazards, evaluating risks, and recommending practical and effective control measures.

- Lead and manage the site's fire warden/marshal program, including recruitment, specialized training, and ongoing communication to ensure a capable and ready emergency response team.
- Act as the primary investigator for all fire-related incidents, alarms, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal fire safety laws, codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA, OSHA, IFC).
- Design and deliver engaging and informative fire safety training programs for all employees, new hires, and contractors, covering topics like fire prevention, extinguisher use, and evacuation protocols.
- Serve as the main point of contact and maintain positive, professional relationships with external agencies, including local fire departments, insurance carriers, and regulatory inspectors.
- Maintain meticulous and audit-ready records of all fire safety activities, including inspection reports, maintenance logs, training attendance, drill results, and incident reports.
