Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency action plans in line with best practices and regulatory standards.
Conduct thorough and regular fire risk assessments for all company premises, identifying potential hazards, evaluating risks, and recommending practical and effective control measures.
Perform detailed inspections and audits of all fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and fire doors, ensuring they are functional and compliant.
Plan, coordinate, and execute regular fire and evacuation drills for all shifts, meticulously documenting outcomes and providing constructive feedback to improve emergency response times and procedures.
Lead and manage the site's fire warden/marshal program, including recruitment, specialized training, and ongoing communication to ensure a capable and ready emergency response team.
Act as the primary investigator for all fire-related incidents, alarms, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
Ensure strict compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal fire safety laws, codes, and standards (e.g., NFPA, OSHA, IFC).
