Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

Respond immediately and safely to alarm activations for fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency calls; perform rapid patient assessment, triage, emergency medical treatment, and safe extrication when required.

Conduct primary and secondary search and rescue operations in smoke-filled, low-visibility, and structurally compromised environments to locate, stabilize and remove victims while minimizing risk to personnel.
Perform forcible entry, progressive ventilation, roof operations, salvage, and overhaul to control fire spread, protect property, and mitigate rekindles, following incident safety and accountability systems.
