Primary Functions

  • Incorporate on-page SEO best practices into all written content, including proper use of headers, meta descriptions, internal linking, and keyword optimization to drive organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new article ideas, content series, and lead magnets that support broader business objectives and user acquisition goals.
  • Interview subject matter experts, including personal trainers, nutritionists, and medical professionals, to ensure the accuracy, authority, and credibility of all content.
  • Source or create compelling visual assets, such as high-quality photos, infographics, and short-form videos, to accompany blog posts and enhance reader engagement.
  • Proofread and edit all content for grammar, spelling, style, and adherence to brand voice and tone guidelines before publication.
  • Upload and format articles within our content management system (CMS), such as WordPress, ensuring a clean and user-friendly layout on both desktop and mobile devices.
  • Promote published articles across various channels, including social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest), email newsletters, and online communities.
  • Analyze content performance using Google Analytics and other data tools, tracking key metrics like page views, time on page, bounce rate, and conversion rates.
  • Use performance data to provide regular reports and actionable insights to the team, suggesting improvements for future content strategy.
  • Stay current with the latest fitness industry trends, scientific research, and competitor content strategies to ensure our content remains relevant and cutting-edge.
  • Engage with our audience by responding to comments on the blog and related social media posts, fostering a sense of community and brand loyalty.
  • Repurpose existing blog content into other formats, such as social media carousels, video scripts, e-books, or email courses, to maximize reach and impact.
  • Manage and contribute to our email newsletter, crafting compelling subject lines and copy to drive open rates and click-throughs to the blog.
