Primary Functions

- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, on-site trials, and virtual walkthroughs that highlight features, benefits, and return-on-investment for commercial and home fitness equipment including cardio, strength, group training, and functional rigs.
- Negotiate commercial pricing, volume discounts, rental and lease-to-own options, extended warranties, service contracts, delivery schedules, and payment terms while protecting margin and securing profitable deals.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot or equivalent), updating opportunity stages, forecasting revenue, logging activities, scheduling follow-ups, and running reports to support accurate sales forecasting.
- Coordinate logistics for equipment delivery, professional installation, and on-site commissioning with third-party carriers, installers, and in-house technical teams to ensure timely, damage-free installations and client satisfaction.
- Facilitate onboarding and end-user training for staff and members, including safety briefings, proper equipment operation, maintenance basics, and digital platform setup for connected equipment and member tracking.
- Handle warranty registration, parts ordering, and service ticket escalation with warranty, service, and technical support teams to rapidly resolve operational issues and maintain uptime for commercial clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers, specifiers, architects, and consultants to drive repeat business, referrals, and preferred vendor status for multi-location rollouts and renovation projects.
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and bid requests for commercial projects; prepare compliant proposals that include specifications, scope, timelines, service levels and pricing, and partner with procurement teams as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and merchandising to develop showroom displays, promotional events, product training sessions, and targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive qualified leads.
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge for the current lineup and upcoming releases, including technical specifications, competitive differentiators, service lifecycle, and software/integration capabilities.
- Track market trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies; provide feedback to product management and leadership to inform product roadmaps and promotional strategies.
- Upsell complementary products, consumables, accessories, and service agreements to increase average order value and lifetime customer revenue.
- Manage inventory levels in showroom and demo fleet; coordinate demo rotations, refurbishments, and staging for customer trials and photo/video assets.
- Conduct site surveys and measurements, produce CAD or layout recommendations for space planning, and liaise with clients and contractors to confirm electrical, flooring and access requirements for installations.
- Execute follow-up outreach post-installation to ensure satisfaction, capture testimonials or case studies, and identify opportunities for additional sales or referrals.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, association events, conferences and community outreach to expand network and generate qualified leads.
- Track and report individual and territory sales performance against quota, prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, and share pipeline updates with management during weekly sales meetings.
