You will be a key player in marketing campaigns, demonstrating products, apparel, and lifestyle concepts in a variety of media, including print, digital, video, and social media. Core Responsibilities

Primary Functions

  • Pose for and participate in physically demanding photoshoots and video productions for athletic apparel, fitness equipment, supplements, and lifestyle brands.
  • Execute a wide range of athletic movements, exercises, and sport-specific actions with proper form and high energy for extended periods.
  • Collaborate closely with photographers, art directors, and stylists to understand the creative vision and bring the campaign concept to life.
  • Maintain a specific, high level of physical conditioning, muscle definition, and overall health as required by agency and client standards.
  • Travel to various indoor and outdoor locations for shoots, sometimes on short notice and for extended durations.
  • Participate in wardrobe fittings to ensure athletic apparel and gear fit correctly and function well during dynamic movement.
  • Perform in live events, trade shows, and expos, demonstrating products and engaging with consumers to represent the brand.
  • Follow detailed instructions and adapt to on-the-fly creative changes from the director or photographer with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Hold static and strenuous poses for long durations under studio lighting or in challenging environmental conditions.
  • Interpret mood boards and creative briefs to accurately convey the desired emotion, intensity, and energy for the campaign.
  • Work effectively as part of a larger production team, including other models, makeup artists, and production assistants.
  • Create authentic and engaging user-generated content (UGC) for brand social media channels, including behind-the-scenes footage and product testimonials.
  • Demonstrate the functionality, features, and benefits of fitness equipment or digital fitness platforms through clear, concise movements.
  • Maintain a highly professional demeanor on set, demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and respect for all crew members.
  • Manage personal scheduling, availability, and communications with agents, bookers, and clients to coordinate casting calls and job bookings.
  • Prepare for shoots by adhering to specific diet, hydration, and exercise protocols to ensure a camera-ready appearance.
  • Rehearse and practice complex sequences of movement or choreography for fitness commercials and video content.
  • Provide authentic facial expressions that range from intense and focused to joyful and relaxed, depending on the project's needs.
  • Ensure personal safety and adhere to all on-set safety protocols, especially during physically demanding or high-risk scenes.
  • Represent the brand's values and mission in all professional interactions, both on and off set.
  • Attend casting calls and auditions with a current, professional portfolio and be prepared to demonstrate physical abilities.

  • Maintain and continuously update a professional modeling portfolio with recent, high-quality images and video reels.

  • Portfolio Curation & Management: Ability to build and maintain a strong, diverse portfolio of professional photos and videos that showcases versatility and physical condition.

Education & Experience

Educational Background

  • Certifications in Personal Training (e.g., NASM, ACE), Nutrition, Kinesiology, or a related fitness field are highly advantageous.

Experience Requirements

Typical Experience Range: 0-5+ years. Experience is demonstrated through the quality of the portfolio rather than a set number of years.

Preferred:

  • A strong, professional, and up-to-date modeling portfolio containing high-resolution images and video content that showcases athletic ability and versatility.
  • Verifiable experience working on commercial photoshoots or video sets.
  • A background as a competitive athlete, personal trainer, or established fitness influencer is highly desirable.
  • Agency representation is preferred but not always required for freelance opportunities.
